Inner Wild Birth Support Collaborators
Kristin Schwarz, LM, CBFE, HBBE, CTT
In collaboration with Jaime Hogan of Inner Wild Birth Support, Kristin presents specialized childbirth education sessions for expectant parents in treatment/recovery from substance use disorders.
Kristin Schwarz was born and raised in the North of Germany, close to the Danish border. She earned her MA in Business Administration and International Relations at Konstanz University, and, after living and working in England, New Zealand, and Malta, Kristin has called South Florida her home for the past 20 years.
After a peaceful home water birth, Kristin decided to help other women feel empowered in their birth choices. She completed the FOCEP (Florida Outreach Childbirth Education Program) childbirth educator classes and enrolled in midwifery school. She received a degree in midwifery by International Institute for Health Care Professionals in Boca Raton, Florida and holds a Florida midwifery license.
Kristin is also a certified Stillbirthday Bereavement Doula, a certified instructor of “The Happiest Baby on the Block” program, a certified CAPPA Pregnancy and Postpartum Fitness Educator, an FXP Hoop Fitness Instructor, and a certified thermography technician (CTT).
Kristin feels that education is the key for moms to making the best choices for their bodies and their babies, and she is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the community.
